The name of the song "Raise High the Roof Beam, Carpenters" is a direct quote from a short story by J.D Salinger. The lyrics of the song "Ética demostrada según Huli Jing" refers to a poem by Rainer Maria Rilke. The name of the song "Vendrá después la playa al amanecer sembrada de rojas calamitas" is based on "Azatoth", a short story by H.P. Lovecrat. The lyrics of "Del Woodpecker al futro limen" are based on two popular Japanese haiku.

The cover of the EP is an intervention of "The Bard", an oil painting by the English romantic painter John Martin (1789-1854).

The EP was recorded at Islandia Estudio in the city of Córdoba, Argentina, in May 2022. The recording engineers were Manuel Collado and Sebastián Palacios. The mixing and mastering was in charge of Manuel Collado, at Fusis Estudio.
